<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the configuration of a solar tile provided with a power generation function and so as to obtain a more powerful electromotive force than what a glaze is applied as in a prior art. <P>SOLUTION: The solar tile that is a functional tile configured such that the sunlight allows the tile to generate electricity, wherein the solar tile is provided with a tile substrate that a holohyaline coating agent, which is a material comprising a phosphor-silicate glass and/or boron-silicate glass is applied onto the surface of a ceramic inorganic clay and is sintered, a silicon layer, which is located on the tile substrate and has a nip structure or a pin structure, a transparent conductive membrane comprising a material, which is stannic oxide (SnO<SB>2</SB>) and/or indium oxide (In<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>) provided on the upper and lower surfaces of the silicon layer and a power supply section capable of supplying the current generated between the silicon layer and the transparent conductive membrane through the transparent conductive membrane. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
