PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit device that can increase the efficiency of data access, reduce chip area and reduce power consumption, and an electronic device using it. SOLUTION: An LSI 10 comprises a cache 11 that stores only predetermined lines of only the first half of burst data read from memory 30, and a register 12 that stores only one line of the second half of the burst data. When the first half of the desired burst data is stored in the cache 11, the first half of the burst data is read from the cache 11 while the second half of the burst data is concurrently read from the memory 30 and stored in the register 12.
