PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the composition of a conductive material layer to be formed to increase the mounting efficiency of an optical element, and to enable to form a pattern suitable for other types of products without using a mask, in an optical bench whereon the optical element is to be mounted. SOLUTION: The optical bench comprises an Si substrate 11, an interconnection 13 formed on the Si substrate 11, and an Au-Sn film 14 which is so formed as to be connected to the interconnection 13 on the Si substrate 11 in order to bond the optical element by die bonding or the like. The Au-Sn film 14 is formed by printing a paste containing gold-tin (Au-Sn) alloy particles in the form of dots. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
