PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a lens barrel in a diameter direction and an optical axis direction without losing optical characteristics. SOLUTION: A 1st member (15) for holding a 1st lens unit (3) is mounted on a 2nd member (14) for holding a 2nd lens unit (2). When it is defined that four areas divided by lines radially extended from the optical axis to positions corresponding to four corners of an imaging device (6) in the view of the 2nd member (14) in the optical axis are a 1st area (81), a 2nd area (83), a 3rd area (82), and a 4th area (84), the output shaft of a 1st motor (31) is arranged in the 1st area (81), the output shaft of a 2nd motor (51) is arranged in the 2nd area (83) and a guide member (37) is arranged in the 3rd area (82).
