PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a shuttle function with an excellent operational property in a window displayed on a display screen of an image editing apparatus. SOLUTION: An original point is provided in the center of a slider display, any positions in a prescribed range holding the original point are automatically returned to the original point by releasing a knob, a dynamic image display is set in a stop state, the knob stays stopped at a moved position beyond the prescribed range, and the dynamic image is displayed at a set reproduction speed. Further, the range within the prescribed range is regarded as an image prescribed reproduction speed range and the range beyond the prescribed range is regarded as an image desired reproduction speed range whose reproduction speed is set according to the knob position.
