PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gateway apparatus without losing data even when the processing is interrupted due to a transmission error or the like. SOLUTION: The gateway apparatus 1 for communicating data between on-vehicle apparatuses connected to different networks compares an ID code denoting a transmission destination included in data temporarily stored and whose transmission is awaited with an ID code of data received thereafter and from the same network, and a CPU 2 judges whether or not the ID codes are the same and aborts data with the older ID code temporarily stored when the CPU 2 judges that the ID codes are the same.
