PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary hinge device for movable communication equipment capable of simplifying a configuration of the hinge device, improving assembly property, maintenance property, and workability, and obtaining soft and stable operation sense by rotation of a cover. SOLUTION: In this rotary hinge device for the movable communication equipment for rotating the cover of the movable communication equipment opened for a main body in the main body, the hinge device is composed of a base member 110 which is connected with a cover hinge device opening and closing the cover 20 for the main body 10 to rotate in the main body and in which a mounting part 111 is integrally formed on one side opposing to the cover 20, a collar 120 connected with the outer periphery in the mounting part of the base member to prevent its rotation, a bushing member 130 which is inserted into the inner periphery of the collar and whose one end part is connected with the mounting part to prevent its rotation, a shaft 140 which is rotatably inserted into the bushing member and whose end part passes through the mounting part of the base member so that the inner periphery of the bushing member and friction force act, and a rotary member 190 fixed to the other end part of the shaft and provided and fixed in the cover.
