PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge mechanism for a pinball machine which enables the expansion of the mobile range of the glass door and facilitates the mounting of the glass door. SOLUTION: The glass door has the door body 28 having a bearing metal 32 on the front thereof and an outer casing body 29 covering the front and the side of the door body 28. Guide ribs 40 and 41 are disposed between the bearing metal 32 and the side wall part 29b of the outer casing body 29 along the direction of getting a hinge shaft 34 fitted into an insertion hole 32a of the bearing metal 32. When the glass door is mounted on a holding frame 25, the tip of a plate-like member 35 with the hinge shaft 34 thereon comes in between the guide ribs 40 and 41 so that the hinge shaft 34 is guided toward the insertion hole 32a. This facilitates the fitting of the hinge shaft 34 into the insertion hole 32a without checking the position of the insertion hole 32a. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
