The invention relates to a method and a device for transporting solid matter. To increase the fluidisation capacity of solid matter, which has essentially been ground to form a fine powder, in a carrier gas, a flow-conditioning agent is added to the solid matter. Said admixture preferably takes place in a pulverisation installation, in particular by the common pulverisation of the solid matter and the flow-conditioning agent. The inventive method and device are particularly suitable for pulverised coal injection installations with regulation of individual lines, for example according to a PCI process, for blow moulds of blast furnaces and also facilitate the recycling of mill scale and shredder granulate.
