A sunroof device capable of suppressing the occurrence of noise in switching between a state in which the movement of a functional bracket is stopped when the rear part of the functional bracket is not lifted completely and a state in which the movement of the functional bracket is allowed when the rear of the functional bracket is lifted completely. The sunroof device comprises the functional bracket (24) supporting a movable panel, a restriction groove (43) formed in a guide rail (21), a front shoe (26) having an engagement pin (48a), and a front check block (27). The front check block (27) further comprises a restriction pin (53) and an engagement groove (54), and is pressed by the engagement pin (48a) so that the restriction pin (53) can be locked to the restriction groove (43) when the rear part of the functional bracket is not lifted completely and the movement of the functional bracket according to the movement of the front shoe (26) is stopped and, when the rear part of the functional bracket is lifted completely, the engagement groove (54) is engaged with the engagement pin (48a), the locked state thereof is released according to the movement of the front shoe (26), and the functional bracket is moved integrally with the front shoe (26).
