A deep drawing assembly has a positive form and a negative form. The positive form has one or more raised areas (18). The negative form has corresponding detents. The form further has an inner retaining strip (20) around the outer margin that holds the forms and work piece in positive contact. A further outer retaining strip (24) is positioned around the inner form.
