<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer simulator realizing an operation nearer to a real machine. <P>SOLUTION: The simulator simulates the operation of the printer real machine having a print engine and a mechanism device. The simulator is also provided with a first simulator operating a print engine model simulating the print engine performing a print processing based on a signal transmitted from a controller by a simulation processing based on a first control program, a second simulator operating a mechanism device model simulating the mechanism device performing printing to a print medium based on a signal inputted from the print engine by simulation calculation based on a second control program and outer hardware having an interface for transmitting/receiving a signal following a communication system between the controller and the printer real machine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
