<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a health food effective for preventing the excessive intake of cadmium and exhibiting antineoplastic activity and provide a method for easily producing the health food at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The antineoplastic health food is composed of dried and pulverized fruit body of Agaricus blazei Murrill containing cadmium and ≥5 pts. wt. of free cyanogen based on 100 pts. wt. of the cadmium. The antineoplastic health food containing ≥5 pts. wt. of free cyanogen based on 100 pts. wt. of cadmium as an inevitable impurity in the final product is produced by using dried fruit body of Agaricus blazei Murrill having a cadmium concentration of ≤4 ppm as a raw material and drying and pulverizing the fruit body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
