<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat belt auxiliary device capable of securely hooking a lap belt at the waist part. <P>SOLUTION: A seat belt auxiliary device 1 for assisting a seat belt SB equipped with at least a lap belt RP includes: an installation portion 2 being mounted on a seat ST or a body; a belt portion 30 of which one end is fixed to the lap belt RP and a freely attachable and detachable part 31 against the installation portion 2, which is fixed to the other end of the belt portion 30.
