PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove displacement between a sample observation position and a sample measuring position for actually measuring by an ATR method. SOLUTION: In this infrared microscope, a storage part 52 stores a displacement amount between the sample observation position in an observation mode bypassing a prism 60 and the sample measuring position in an ATR measuring mode, and a stage movement control part 50 controls movement of a sample stage 12 so as to move the sample stage 12 as far as the displacement amount stored in the storage part 52 so that the sample observation position agrees with the sample measuring position in the ATR measuring mode time.
