PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera shutter advantageous to cost reduction, by providing the shutter with a filter plate in order to always extinguish the object light. SOLUTION: A cover plate 4 and a press plate 6 are superposed to each other and a blade room of shutter blades 2, 3 is constituted between the superposed part and a shutter ground plate 1. An ND filter plate 5 is stored in a recessed part 4g formed on the cover plate 4 without using adhesive, and while preventing the drop of the ND filter plate 5 by the press plate 6, planarity is maintained. Although the number of parts is increased in the constitution, as compared with the case for sticking the ND filter plate 5 to the cover plate 4, assembling work can be easily performed, the constitution is advantageous to cost reduction and the ND filter plate 5 can be easily replaced also at repairing.
