PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a music teaching apparatus that makes it possible to teach focusing on acquiring the ability to distinguish the component notes of the complex sound played at the same time. SOLUTION: Correct answers and wrong answers in each assignment sound for a fundamental note are counted from an assignment history management data base DB in which the fundamental note of an assignment, an assignment sound which is the component note of the fundamental note, and a response note inputted responding the given assignment sound are registered. Then, based upon the result of the count, it is determined whether or not there are any fundamental notes that are hard to listen and any assignment sounds that are hard to distinguish between them relative to the fundamental note. Next, the program creates and provides a training assignment sound including the fundamental notes that are hard to listen and the assignment sounds that are hard to distinguish between them relative to the fundamental notes.
