PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display wherein the number of components can be reduced and costs can be reduced when two liquid crystal display panels are irradiated by using two light guide plates and to provide an information processor and portable telephone set using the same. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display is provided with a light source 58, a main side liquid crystal display panel 51, a main side light guide plate 52, a sub side liquid crystal display panel 53, a sub side light guide plate 54 and a light source moving means capable of relatively moving the light source 58 in the position opposed to the side surface of the main side light guide plate 52 and the position opposed to the side surface of the sub side light guide plate 54.
