PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical receptacle which has a wiggle property stabilized and prevents crack of a split sleeve to improve the reliability. SOLUTION: In an optical receptacle 7, a rear end part 1b of a fiber stub 1 having an optical fiber 3 fixed to a through hole of a ferrule 2 is pressed into and fixed to a holder 5, and a split sleeve 4 for holding a plug ferrule 21 connected to a front end part 1a is held in the front end part 1a, and the outer periphery of the split sleeve 4 is held by a sleeve case 6, and a sleeve case rear end part 6b is held by the holder 5, and the optical receptacle 7 has a slit fixing part 8 for fixing a slit 4a of the split sleeve 4.
