PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic apparatus which hardly causes variance in density without depending on the emission state of a laser beam even when a multibeam type exposure means is used but no destaticizing means such as preliminary exposure is used, and which hardly induces a ghost or fluctuation in the potential by repeated use. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic apparatus is equipped with: an electrophotographic photoreceptor having a photosensitive layer comprising at least a charge generating layer, a charge transport layer and a crosslinking charge transport layer on a supporting body; a charging means; a multibeam type exposure means; a developing means; and a transfer means but no destaticizing means. In the apparatus, the crosslinking charge transport layer of the electrophotographic photoreceptor is formed by hardening at least a radical polymerizable monomer having no charge transporting structure but three or more functional groups and a radical polymerizable compound having a monofunctional charge transporting structure. The charge mobility of the photosensitive layer is specified to 5.0×10<SP>-7</SP>to 2.0×10<SP>-5</SP>cm<SP>2</SP>/(V×s). COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
