PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a horizontal-line-like noise generated in a reproduced image, by receiving vibration with a radiographic image conversion panel arranged vertically and used supportedly by left and right edge parts and a lower edge part. SOLUTION: In this radiographic image conversion panel, a photostimulable phosphor layer 12 is provided in a support 11, and the photostimulable phosphor layer 12 is supported onto a reader for reading the image with scan of excitation light in left and right side parts of the support 11. A lateral-directional rigidity value of the support is larger than a longitudinal-directional rigidity value thereof, the lateral-directional rigidity value is 3-200 kgf mm<SP>2</SP>, and longitudinal-directional rigidity value is 1-150 kgf mm<SP>2</SP>. The reproduced image is thereby hardly affected by the vibration even when the reader for supporting the radiographic image conversion panel in the left and right side parts is vibrated when the stimulable phosphor layer 12 is irradiated with the excitation light to detect photostimulable luminescence, by making the lateral-directional rigidity value of the support 11 higher than the longitudinal-directional rigidity value thereof, and the horizontal-line-like noise is thereby suppressed.
