PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoxy resin composition having excellent storage stability, impregnating property, curability, etc., by easily dissolving a metal acetylacetonate in an epoxy resin, thereby facilitating the control of the resin. SOLUTION: The epoxy resin composition having excellent storage stability, impregnating property, curability, etc., and easy controllability is produced by dissolving a metal acetylacetonate in an alcohol, mixing the solution to an epoxy resin, removing the alcohol under reduced pressure to stably dissolve a cure accelerator in the epoxy resin and mixing an acid anhydride curing agent to the produced epoxy resin.
