PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine the crystal structure of lectin derived from pokeweed. SOLUTION: The crystal of PL-D2 belongs to a space group P2<SB>1</SB>and has unit lattice constants of a=23.24Å, b=56.95Å, c=29.62Åandβ=109.3°. The crystal of PL-D1 belongs to a space group P2<SB>1</SB>2<SB>1</SB>2 and has unit lattice constants of a=48.67Å, b=49.01Åand c=29.93Å.
