PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe and inexpensive climbing method for solving these problems of being dangerous because of being unable to use a crane for installation and removal since post-climbing removal and readjustment work are caused for these reinforcements, though a load and the moment are dispersed to beams of the upper and lower floors by installing a column and a brace for reinforcement, when strength is insufficient in the beams for supporting the load and the moment of the crane, when transferring a base of the crane to a completed floor in the crane by climbing on the floor in construction work. SOLUTION: In this double layer receiving girder climbing crane, the load and the moment are dispersed to the beams 5 and 6 of the upper and lower floors, by arranging an upper girder 2 and a lower girder 3 for supporting the load and the moment of the crane by a double layer of the upper and lower floors, on a mast receiving base 1 joined to the lower end of a mast 8 for supporting a climbing crane 9 for transferring a skeleton of a building to the upper floor when the skeleton is completed.
