PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an analytic result with a high level of visibility, which is utilized in a balance examination. SOLUTION: A stabilimeter with a force plate on which a subject is placed and a load measurement means for measuring loads, applied on the force plate, at a plurality of positions is equipped with an arithmetic means for calculating positions of the center of gravity of the subject whose eyes are opened or closed, a circumferential surface area encircling a swaying path of the center of gravity, and the average displacement of the sway of the center of gravity in the right or left direction based on load data measured by the load measurement means and an output means (a display means, a printing means) for outputting the positions of the center of gravity calculated by the arithmetic means, the circumferential surface area encircling the swaying path of the center of gravity, and the average displacement of the sway of the center of gravity in the direction to the right and left. The examination result in the degree of swaying is visually confirmed from the circumferential surface area encircling the swaying path of the center of gravity, and the examination result whether the center of the sway of the center of gravity is displaced to the right or left is visually confirmed from the average displacement of the sway of the center of gravity in the right or left direction by outputting the positions of the center of gravity of the subject whose eyes are opened or closed, the circumferential surface area encircling the swaying path of the center of gravity, and the average displacement of the sway of the center of gravity in the right or left direction.
