PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thread guide for a multiple needle sewing machine which keeps a stable thread tension with a favorable thread gliding regardless of the kind of a used thread, and can stably feed a needle thread. SOLUTION: This thread guide for a multiple needle sewing machine is made the needle thread 6 which is extended downward from a thread tension body 5 pass, and guides the needle thread 6 to a needle thread take-up 4. The thread guide has a rotating body 11 which is freely rotatably supported by a supporting section 7d. The thread guide 3 for the multiple needle sewing machine is constituted in such a manner that the needle thread 6 is wound around the rotating body 11, and the rotating body 11 may be rotated accompanying the movement of the needle thread 6.
