PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure reducing device of a drain passage for a grease trap for enabling use of a replaceable residue recovering bag instead of a residue bag, by surely separating oil and water in the grease trap, by reducing pressure of waste water before reaching the grease trap, even if the waste water from a washing sink is made to flow out at once. SOLUTION: This pressure reducing device is provided with a water quantity adjusting plate 60 movable to a support shaft 52 fixed to a housing 42, and a spring 66 for energizing in the direction for narrowing clearance 72 between the water quantity adjusting plate 60 and the housing 42. When a large quantity of waste water is drained at once to a drain pipe 74a, in pressure of the large quantity of waste water, water pressure is reduced by moving the water quantity adjusting plate 60 against the spring 66, and a drain quantity flowing in the grease trap 10 is adjusted by restricting a drain quantity passing through the clearance by the clearance 72 between the housing 42 and the water quantity adjusting plate 60.
