<p>Diamond-like carbon structure having open pores with a BET pore size of 12-100 Angstroms or having a volume adsorption (not defined) of 400-600 cm3>/g or forming colorless monocrystals or having a refractive index above 2.55 or having absorption limits (not defined) in the UV region or in bandwidths over 220 nm is new. Independent claims are also included for: (1) carrier matrix with diamond-like carbon structures, comprising a (meth)acrylate monomer or prepolymer, polyether polyol, polyester polyol, cycloaliphatic epoxy resin or isocyanate-crosslinking polyurethane system; (2) carrier matrix with diamond-like carbon structures having an average cluster size below 100 nm; (3) producing a carrier matrix with diamond-like carbon structures by dispersing a nanoparticulate diamond material in a liquid or semisolid carrier, matching the zeta potential of the nanoparticulate diamond material to the zeta potential of the carrier and stabilizing the product.</p> |
