The pump unit (1), especially for the supply of transmission oil, comprises a vane cell pump (3) installed in a two-part housing (2). The two halves (2',2") of the housing are axially movable in relation to one another so that a steplessly adjustable flow rate is realizable, whereby for the stepless adjustment of the flow rate a stroke ring or another suitable device is provided. The vane cell pump has at least two suction openings (6) and two pressure outlets (7).
