The radial piston pump has a feed piston (1) which during a suction stroke draws oil through side openings into the cylinders. During a compression stroke the oil is fed to a collecting chamber through openings in the outer end faces of the cylinders. A return spring (2) is fitted in the feed piston. The pump has a damping piston (3) which has its own compression spring (4) which has a lower spring rigidity than the return spring for the feed piston. The damping piston is fitted in the feed piston, and the compression spring for the damping piston is fitted concentrically to the return spring.
