<p>The tandem fan (1) for radiators of motor vehicles has two contra-rotating impellers which in the direction of the rotational axes are located in the same rotational plane. Both fan impellers (2,3) each have a rotating ring (2.3,3.3) which roll against one another. The rotating rings mesh with one another by means of teeth and on their outer periphery may have an anti-slip coating which is preferably rubber. The rotating ring of at least one impeller is located in the radial direction between the outside radius of the fan hubs (2.1,3.1) and radial outer edge of the fan blades (2.2,3.2).</p> |
