With respect to unknown CDT genes of C. coli and C. fetus, cloning and sequence determination have been successfully accomplished. Further, C. jeju ni and C. fetus CDT comparison has been carried out, and primers specific to an d common to both have been developed. It has been probed that the developed primers are applicable to the multiplex PCR method capable of simultaneously conducting easy and speedy determination of the presence of CDT of Campylobacter genus bacteria and identification of bacterial strain thereof and can further be utilized in the typing according to the PCR-RFLP method.< /SDOAB>
