<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mesoporous carbon molecular sieve which can be used as a catalyst carrier capable of improving the activity of a carried catalyst; its production method; a carried catalyst prepared by using the mesoporous carbon molecular sieve as a carrier; and a fuel cell adopting such a carried catalyst. <P>SOLUTION: The mesoporous carbon molecular sieve has an average primary particle diameter of about 500 nm or less, an average mesopore diameter of about 3 nm to about 6 nm, and a BET surface area of about 500 to about 2,000 m<SP>2</SP>/g. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
