<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell stack which connects/fixes unit fuel cells to a cell support plate strongly and prevents gas from leaking through a manifold, and to provide its manufacturing method, and a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of unit fuel cells 33 having gas flowing paths 34 are inserted to and bonded in a plurality of cell insertion holes 50a1 formed in a cell support plate 50a of 2 mm or more in thickness, so as to stand therefrom. The cell support plate 50a with the standing unit cells are set on a manifold 50.
