<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which disables locking/unlocking unless locking/unlocking data is input from an information processor used by an administrator. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus is equipped with a data accepting means for accepting the locking/unlocking data on the locking and the unlocking from the information processor 70, and a locking/unlocking control means for making a locking means perform the locking and the unlocking in accordance with the locking/unlocking data. The image forming apparatus is also equipped with an information-processor unique data accepting means for accepting information-processor unique data of the information processor for inputting the locking/unlocking data, and an information-processor unique data collating means for collating the information-processor unique data.
