<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent erroneous detection of nipping of foreign matter when automatically opening a back door by torque of a motor. <P>SOLUTION: In automatic opening-closing operation of the back door (Step S1), when an outside switch for indicating grasping or non-grasping of a hand of an operator to a door knob part is an ON state (a grasping state) (Step S2), and when a moving distance of the back door is less than a predetermined angle (Step S6) after the outside switch becomes an OFF state (an ungrasped state) from the ON state, an electric current threshold value higher than an ordinary electric current threshold value is set (Step S3 and Step S7), and a motor current is compared with the electric current threshold value (Step S4), to detect nipping of an obstacle of the back door (Step S5). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
