<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently and automatically reduce smear during photographing, in a personal digital assistant having an imaging means such as a cellular phone with a camera. <P>SOLUTION: The personal digital assistant that has the imaging means 18 includes: a drive mechanism 21 by which a light reducing member 19 which reduces a quantity of incident light and transmits it is displaced between a closed state in which the front of the imaging means 18 is covered and an opened state in which the front of the imaging means 18 is not covered; a determining means 17 for determining whether the quantity of light made incident on the imaging means 18 is equal to or larger than a predetermined quantity; and a control means 17 which, when the result of the determination is equal to or larger than the predetermined quantity, controls the drive mechanism 21 to bring the light reducing member 19 into the closed state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
