METHOD FOR DISPLAYING IMAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display method by which a user can easily find a desired image on a list display screen of reduced images.

SOLUTION: Images are sorted into attribute groups on the basis of attributes such as types of cameras and reduced images are displayed for each group. A group in which many images are included is arranged on a position closer to the center of the picture. The display size of the reduced image of an image having high resolution is set larger than the display size of the reduced image of an image having low resolution. When time sequence display processing is started, display images are switched in each several seconds successively from an image of the oldest photographing date to images of newer photographing dates.
