<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost add-on type driving mechanism for a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: This driving mechanism for a vehicle is provided with an engine, an automatic transmission, a first driving gear formed in an output shaft of the automatic transmission and a differential device for transmitting rotating force of the output shaft, which is input through the first driving gear, to each of driving wheels. This driving mechanism is provided with a motor, a motor gear formed in the output shaft of the motor arranged in parallel with an output shaft of the transmission, and an intermediate reducing shaft arranged in parallel with the output shafts of the transmission and the motor. The intermediate reducing shaft is formed with a driven gear to be engaged with the motor gear formed in the motor side and a second driving gear for transmitting rotating force of the output shaft of the motor to the differential device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
