<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of performing smooth clutch control and speed adjustment by an accelerator pedal operated by a driver when a vehicle provided with a mechanical clutch starts or runs at low speed and controlling clutch stroke rationally when the vehicle starts from a condition in which it stops on, in particular, a slippery road surface. <P>SOLUTION: Difference between driving wheel rotation speed (ωd) and driven wheel rotation speed (ωf) of the vehicle is repeatedly computed. When the difference is larger than a set threshold value, it is determined that slip occurs in a driving wheel to loosen control of clutch stroke or convert in the opposite direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
