<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the operability in jam processing of a copying machine etc. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus equipped with a plurality of jam detecting sensors which are arranged along a paper passing path and detect a jam and a jam processing image storage means of holding a series of jam processing procedures as images is equipped with an image display means of displaying all the series of jam processing procedures when the jam detection sensors detect a jam, an operation position detection sensor which detects a place that a user operates for jam processing, and an operation determination means of determining whether specified jam processing is performed based upon information on the operated place, and displays the progress state of the jam processing on the image display means according to the determination result of the operation determination means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
