<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote the repair of a product in a technology for promoting the repair of the product that a user possesses. <P>SOLUTION: An IC tag of RFID storing an identifier specifying a type of the product is attached to the product. A reader of RFID for reading the identifier is installed in a store. When the user carries the product and visits the store, the reader reads the identifier of the product. When the server determines the product to be an object of prescribed service, the determination is informed to the user coming to the store. A stock situation of components used for performing service is managed by the server. When the component does not exist in the store which the user visits, the server searches a location of the component.
