<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve target identification performance by narrowing down reference data, in a radar system for target identification for identifying observed targets. <P>SOLUTION: The radar system for target identification is provided with receiver 106 for receiving a plurality of polarization signals, through the use of a plurality of aerials having polarization characteristics difference from one another; a transmitter 101 for generating and transmitting wide-band pulses; a target detecting part 108 for detecting the targets, on the basis of a plurality of received polarization signals received by the receiver 106; and a target identifying part 109 for identifying the targets by combining the feature quantities. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
