SEAT RECLINING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the lock release of a reclining mechanism and a folding mechanism by one lever operation without deteriorating the appearance around an intermediate plate.

SOLUTION: A first reclining mechanism 9 is provided at the connected section between a seat cushion SC and the intermediate plate 5, and the angle adjustment of a seat back SB is performed by rotating the seat back SB together with the intermediate plate 5 with a first rotating shaft 7 as a pivot. A second reclining mechanism 13 is provided at the connected section between the seat back SB and the intermediate plate 5, and the seat back SB is superposed with the seat cushion SC by rotating the seat back SB with a second rotating shaft 11 as a pivot. First and second lock releasing levers 23 and 25 which release respective locking mechanisms of the first and second reclining mechanisms 9 and 13 are connected with each other by a connecting link 37. The lock releasing of respective lock mechanisms is performed in association with each other by the operation of a lock releasing operation lever which is connected with the connecting link 37 through a lock releasing cable 41.
