PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide inexpensively an image forming apparatus capable of holding stable image quality while preventing what is called a toner leak. SOLUTION: In such constitution that a rubbing roller 7 for cleaning a photoreceptor drum 1 and a 1st discharge screw 14a discharging toner on the photoreceptor drum 1 which has been removed by the rubbing roller 7 are provided in a cleaning container C and a shield sheet 15 for sealing the gap between an opening part lower part of the cleaning container C which faces the photoreceptor drum 1 and the photoreceptor drum 1 is provided at the opening part lower part, a 2nd discharge screw 14b which discharges toner deposited on the bottom of the cleaning container C is provided in an area on the bottom of the cleaning container which is surrounded by the rubbing roller 7, photoreceptor drum 1, and shield sheet 15.
