摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer rotor type synchronous reluctance motor capable of increasing torque of the synchronous reluctance motor when the torque of the synchronous reluctance motor increases by changing a conventional inner rotor of a synchronous reluctance motor into an outer rotor. SOLUTION: A plurality of flux barriers are provided to the outer rotor of the motor which is formed out of a magnetic steel sheet. A stator forms a plurality of slot for a winding, and has a bearing receiving the shaft of the outer rotor in the center of the stator. The winding for generating a rotating magnetic field is wound into the slot of the stator. In using the outer rotor type synchronous reluctance motor with such constitution, the shaft of the outer rotor rotates in the bearing of the stator by generation of magnetic resistance of the outer rotor to rotate the outer rotor.
