SPECIFIC ANTIBODY AGAINST ENDOTHELIN-2/VIC, METHOD FOR MAKING THE SAME AND APPLICATION THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for readily and precisely detecting and determining endothelin-2/VIC (vasoactive intestinal contractor) to contribute to the elucidation of various kinds of diseases such as essential hypertention, cardiac insufficiency and intestinal disease considered to be associated with the endothelin-2/VIC, or to the development of a diagnostic method and a therapeutic method of these diseases. SOLUTION: The antibody has specific reactivity with the endothelin-2 and the VIC. As a result, the antibody can differentiate an endothelin analogue and can specifically recognize the endothelin-2 and the VIC. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
