摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stilbene derivative prevented from crystallization and having prescribed drum sensitivity because of having a long-chain alkyl group on the phenyl group of triphenylamine as the molecular terminal, to provide a method for producing the stilbene derivative, and to provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor containing the stilbene derivative. SOLUTION: The stilbene derivative is represented by the general formula(1) [ wherein, X is a 7-15C alkyl; a plurality of R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>, R<SP>3</SP>and R<SP>4</SP>are independent of each other, each being H, a halogen atom, (substituted) 1-20C alkyl, 1-20C alkoxy or 6-30C aryl; and A is an aromatic ring-containing bivalent organic group ]. The electrophotographic photoreceptor containing the stilbene derivative is also provided. The method for producing the stilbene derivative comprises carrying out a reaction between a specific formylated triphenylamine derivative and a specific diphosphoric ester derivative in the presence of a base.
