PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a radically polymerizable hemiacetal ester derivative which provides a cured material having excellent chemical performance, physical performance, flexibility and adhesivity to a substrate and has excellent storage stability. SOLUTION: The radically polymerizable hemiacetal ester derivative is obtained by using a hydroxy group-containing (meth)acrylate and a compound containing one or more cyclic acid anhydride groups in one molecule, half-esterifying the hydroxy group with the cyclic acid anhydride group to give a compound containing a carboxy group and a (meth)acryloyl group and subjecting the carboxy group of the compound and a monovinyl (thio)ether compound to addition reaction.
