PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of an air flotation carrier system in conventional constitution to supply compressed air to the carrier side requiring complicated work for handling and storing air hoses and power cables, and space for installing a compression air source onto the carrier. SOLUTION: This air flotation carrier system is provided with a carrier 1 comprising a circular air bag 5 under a base 4 provided with an air chest 3, and a plurality of compression air jet parts 11a and 11b composed in a floor 2 along a carrier passage in the carrier. In the carrier, a first communication hole 7 to be communicated with a space 6 surrounded by the circular air bag and a second communication hole 9 communicated with an inner space 8 of the circular air bag are provided.
